Thursday, May 18, 2023, is the 12th annual celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). This online global event raises awareness about why digital accessibility matters and how it impacts the more than one billion people worldwide who experience disabilities.
The IS Technology Accessibility Team, part of the Technology Accessibility Program (TAP), recently launched a new audio series, A11Y Audio. A11Y Audio provides accessibility resources for campus members, raises awareness on accessibility’s importance, and offers guidance on how Wake Forest can infuse technology accessibility practices throughout our campus roles.
