The One Button Studio is an automated video recording facility with a student focus, located in Z. Smith Reynolds Library behind the Service Desk.

No need to mess with camera, lighting, or audio equipment. Just bring a USB thumb drive and the studio will do the rest.

We believe in keeping it simple – taking the focus off of technology and onto the content. That’s why we’ve brought you the One Button Studio. The studio is equipped with a gray backdrop that can be illuminated with either green or blue light depending on what the person is wearing. The LED ceiling lights, microphone, and camera are activated when the USB thumb drive is inserted.

Once the participant is ready, simply click the button to begin recording. To stop recording, simply press the button again. Your session has been compressed and recorded onto your USB drive and saved as an M4V as well as an MP3 incase you just want the audio.

Use Cases and Consultation

Whatever your needs for the studio, we are happy to meet with you to discuss the many ways in which the One Button Studio can be utilized. Please contact for a one-on-one consultation.
