Before You Begin
You must have or create a MathWorks account using your @wfu.edu email address before you can install MatLab. Follow the steps in the install guide to create an account.
Installation Instructions
Follow these instructions to install MATLAB on your Windows computer:
- Download.
- Scroll down and click Sign in to get started.
- If you have a MathWorks account, log in with your @wfu.edu account. If you do not have a MathWorks account, click Create one! Please note- you MUST create the MathWorks account using your @wfu.edu email address.
- Once logged in, click Download Installer.
- Click Download for Windows.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to begin the installation process.
- Log in with your MathWorks Account information (this must be with your @wfu.edu email address).
- Verify that Individual (Academic – Total Headcount) is selected. Click Next.
- Choose all needed toolboxes for installation. If you do not need any additional toolboxes, keep the default boxes checked, and click Next.
- Click Begin Install.
- Once the installation finished, click Close.
MathWorks MATLAB is now fully installed and activated.
Follow these instructions to install MATLAB on your Mac computer:
- Download.
- Scroll down and click Sign in to get started.
- If you have a MathWorks account, log in with your @wfu.edu account. If you do not have a MathWorks account, click Create one! Please note- you MUST create the MathWorks account using your @wfu.edu email address.
- Once logged in, click Download Installer.
- Click Download for macOS.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to begin the installation process.
- Double-click InstallForMacOSX.
- Click Open to allow the installer to run.
- Log in with your MathWorks Account information (this must be with your @wfu.edu email address). Click Next.
- Verify that Individual (Academic – Total Headcount) is selected. Click Next.
- Choose all needed toolboxes for installation. If you do not need any additional toolboxes, keep the default boxes checked, and click Next.
- Click Begin Install.
- Follow the remaining prompts. Once the installation finished, click Close.
MATLAB is now fully installed and activated.
