Alert! Watch out for a new iPhone scammer tactic.

In this scheme, a user’s Apple device is bombarded with numerous system-level prompts, rendering the devices unusable until the recipient either permits or denies each prompt. If the user navigates through the prompts correctly, scammers posing as Apple support may then contact the victim, claiming their account is compromised and requesting verification of a one-time code.
