The WakerSpace aims to be a collaborative environment of innovation, embracing the spirit of Pro Humanitate and a liberal arts tradition by encouraging undergraduate, graduate, and professional discovery through the continued engagement of faculty, staff, and students. Formal and informal learning intermingle in the WakerSpace, focusing on hands-on experiences that foster creativity, ingenuity, problem solving, and intellectual curiosity.

Based on experiential learning, the makerspace is a place where faculty, staff, and students can come together to innovate and collaborate on ideas and projects for class and for fun. WakerSpace provides a place where people with shared interests can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge.

Location

The WakerSpace is located in the modular units (Building 61A) in the back of Parking Lot Q, between Scales and Dogwood/Magnolia.
