Mur Muchane serves as the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Wake Forest University. In this role, he oversees information technology across the university. In collaboration with campus partners and with University leadership, Information Systems delivers technology infrastructure, systems and services for the academic, research and administrative needs of Wake Forest University (WFU) students, faculty and staff.

Mur and the Office of Information Systems work to collaborate with key institutional leaders in the development of shared goals and dissemination of knowledge, where technology plays an integral role in support of teaching, learning, and research; advancing institutional priorities through the delivery of innovative and client-focused services.
