Charter
The WakeWare Subcommittee serves to share information, advise on upcoming changes, and evaluate program feedback about the student laptop program, WakeWare. The community will provide an open forum for WakeWare campus partners to discuss plans and preparations for the upcoming academic year, share marketing and communication methods, voice concerns and ask questions, and review program statistics and feedback to maintain and constantly improve the student experience.
The WWCoI will be chaired by the WakeWare Program Manager. Group membership should consist of areas from across campus actively involved in the program lifecycle, from planning, communication, marketing, purchasing, and support with the student experience as its top priority. Members should include individuals from Academic Advising, Admissions, Athletics, the Campus Bookstore, Information System Client Technologies, Financial Aid, School of Business, and the Information Systems Service Desk.
The WWCoI should meet twice a year, once in the Spring prior to hardware announcements and marketing, and once in the Fall to evaluate program success. The WWCoI will report to CIT and provide regular updates.
The specific charge to the WWCoI is to:
- Share information and discuss potential impacts of changes being made to the WakeWare Program
- Be informed of program details and where to point various students for more information
- Identify and discuss opportunities for improvement
- Review and evaluate program feedback and statistics
- Perform peer school laptop program evaluation and comparisons
- Prompt discussion to ensure the program continues to evolve
