The Studio: A Space for Digital Innovation
The Studio: A Space for Digital Innovation is a new initiative at Wake Forest University that will officially launch in Spring 2026. Designed as a collaborative hub, The Studio provides students, faculty, and staff with access to tools, resources, and mentorship to support creative exploration, digital media production, and innovative research.
The space will host workshops, events, and project support opportunities that empower the WFU community to build digital skills, experiment with emerging technologies, and bring new ideas to life. The Studio supports digital pedagogy initiatives, designing innovative classroom projects, or conducting research that intersects with technology and creativity.
In advance of the official opening, The Studio is currently offering limited consultations for those interested in learning how it can support teaching, research, and creative projects. These early engagements allow community members to begin exploring collaborations and integrating The Studio’s expertise into their work.
The Studio is reservable at thestudio@wfu.edu, from 9 AM-5 PM. Students may utilize the space after hours. A Studio Consultant will be in the space Monday-Thursday 5 PM-9 PM and potentially Sundays 3 PM-7 PM later in the semester.
