Installation Instructions – Windows
Follow these instructions to install StataSE v18 on your Windows computer:
- Download.
- If prompted, log in with your WFU Google account. Click Download.
- Click Download anyway.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to begin the install.
- If prompted about Windows protection, click More Info and Run Anyway.
- The automated installer will begin.
- Click OK to complete the installation.
StataSE v18 is now fully activated and ready to use.
Follow these instructions to install StataBE v18 on your Windows computer:
- Download.
- If prompted, log in with your WFU Google account. Click Download.
- Click Download anyway.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to begin the install.
- If prompted about Windows protection, click More Info and Run Anyway.
- The automated installer will begin.
- Click OK to complete the installation.
- StataBE v18 is now fully installed and ready to use.
Installation Instructions – Mac
Follow these instructions to install StataSE v18 for Faculty only on your Mac computer:
- Download.
- If prompted, log in with your WFU Google account. Click Download.
- Click Download anyway.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to run.
- Click Install Stata.pkg.
- Click Continue to go through installation wizard.
- When prompted, only check Stata/SE. Click Continue.
- Click Install and then Close.
- Click to open the licensing information.
- Go to the Applications folder and open Stata > StataSE.app. When prompted, enter the license information provided in the document linked above. Click Next.
- Click Finish.
StataSE v18 is now fully installed and ready to use.
Follow these instructions to install StataBE v18 for Students on your Mac computer:
- Download.
- If prompted, log in with your WFU Google account. Click Download.
- Click Download anyway.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click to run.
- Click Install Stata.pkg.
- Click Continue to go through installation wizard.
- When prompted, only check Stata/BE. Click Continue.
- Click Install and then Close.
- Click to open the licensing information.
