IS Introduces Digital Badge Program for Professional Development Recognition

Information Systems (IS) is committed to advancing digital literacy and technical professional development across Wake Forest University. To formally acknowledge the dedicated efforts of faculty and staff in pursuing essential technology skills, we are pleased to announce the implementation of the IS Digital Badge Program. 

The AI Explorer

We are kicking off the program with the AI Explorer badge. Complete any three AI learning experiences—whether that be attending workshops through Wake Forest IS or LinkedIn Learning, listening to podcast episodes, joining AI Cafes, or participating in discussion groups. Use our self-reporting form to share your unique journey and let us know how you’ve explored AI in your own way.

Participants can display badges digitally in their email signatures and collect a coordinating sticker from The Bridge service desk, located in ZSR Library. 

Already completed the requirements for a digital badge? The program can be retroactive; if you have already completed the criteria for an available badge, we’ll share the digital badge with you.
