Camtasia
Faculty and staff have access to Camtasia, a screen recording and video editing tool that allows you to record onscreen activity, audio and webcam video, and narrate existing PowerPoint presentations. Through Camtasia, you can record, edit, produce, and share course content.
You can use Camtasia to:
- record websites, software, video calls, or PowerPoint presentations
- add effects using drag and drop text, transitions and more using the built-in video editor
- share your video to YouTube, Vimeo, or your online video course
Note that Camtasia is an advanced tool that has a learning curve larger than some other tools that are available. Contact a member of the Academic Technology team to discuss your video needs and whether Camtasia is the appropriate tool for you!
