Information Systems is excited to share a new opportunity to grow your skills: Wake Forest now has access to Grow with Google, a free learning platform hosted on Coursera that offers dozens of courses designed to build high-demand technology skills, and we invite you to explore the catalog and start building your skills today.
Why Explore Grow with Google?
While the catalog is vast with access to over 100 free courses in multiple languages, the platform is particularly valuable for those looking to deepen their expertise in Artificial Intelligence. Of note, you’ll find:
- AI and Prompting Essentials: Practical, self-paced courses that introduce effective strategies for leveraging AI in your daily workflow.
- Broad Technical Catalog: Beyond AI, you can explore topics such as Data Analytics, Python Programming, Data Storytelling, and Project Management.
- Flexible Learning: Choose a course that can be completed in just a few hours, or choose a fully comprehensive course that will take a week of dedicated time. All offerings allow the flexibility to go at your own pace.
- Recognized Credentials: Every course results in a certificate of completion, and several offer industry-recognized professional certifications that can be added directly to your LinkedIn profile or resume.
Three month “Check-Out”
Each requested license will follow a three-month “library-style” check-out model. During this time, you are welcome to complete as many courses as you wish. If you need more time, you’ll be able to request a renewal of your license later. Your progress will be saved for you to pick up exactly where you left off.

To begin, first request a license. Requests will be fulfilled within three business days, and an invitation to join the program will arrive in your inbox shortly thereafter.
