Web Hosting

Users have several options for setting up websites on campus.

Google Sites

Beginners should start with Google Sites. Google Sites is a structured wiki- and Web page-creation tool offered by Google. The goal of Google Sites is for anyone to be able to create simple web sites that support collaboration between different editors. Simply login with your WFU credentials and choose a template.

Personal Web Page

Faculty, staff, and students can create simple personal pages. These pages must be built from scratch, and no templates are provided. Please reference the Maintaining Personal Web Pages article to get started.

cPanel Hosting

For more complex projects users can request a cPanel instance to manage their own space on a server. This option requires configuration and maintenance and is not recommended for beginners. Request a cPanel account here.
