The North Carolina Higher Ed Digital Accessibility Collaborative hosted Join the Journey: 2022 Digital Accessibility Conference on Thursday, June 16 from 9 am – 4:30 pm ET.

More than 300 attendees from 26 states joined this free, online professional development conference throughout the day to engage with digital accessibility experts presenting on topics like:

  • accessible course design
  • Social media accessibility
  • accessibility testing basics
  • ARIA and HTML
  • and more!

Representation from a number of occupations including disability services, students, instructors, instructional designers, social media managers, graphic designers, library sciences, faculty, adminstrative staff in higher ed, web developers and content managers, accessibility offices, non-profit staff, human resources, project managers, procurement services, and researchers, provided thoughtful and impactful discussion.
