Start a WebEx meeting in your Personal Room

When to use your WebEx Personal Room

Impromptu or “last minute” meetings can be easily started using your WebEx Personal Room. Your Personal Room is tied to your WFU username – e.g. – and is accessible by attendees after you (the host) have started a meeting.

If you are not automatically logged in, click the Log In button on near the upper right-hand corner, and enter your WFU Google login information.

Step 3

Click the green Start Meeting button in the center of the screen. After WebEx loads, select your Audio and Video Connection options. Most users will select Call using Computer and their default Webcam.

Step 4

To invite people into your Personal Room, click on the Invite & Remind button near the center of the screen. You can notify and invite potential attendees by email or phone – just put in their email addresses or telephone numbers into the appropriate tabs, press Send or Call, then Done.

Step 5

The invitees will receive an email with your meeting information. This information contains a link to the meeting under Join WebEx Meeting. You can also have them forward that message onto other group members so they can join.
