Adobe Student Ambassadors
The Information Systems Academic Technology team is pleased to announce that Adobe has invited Wake Forest to participate in their Adobe Student Ambassador program! As an Ambassador for Wake Forest, these students will increase awareness of Adobe CC and promote Adobe events and workshops through social media posts, club meetings/events, and campus outreach.

Selected students have the opportunity to:
- Learn all there is to learn about Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC)
- Get up close and personal with Adobe pros and learn about what’s new with programs, contests, and features
- Build their resume by gaining real-world experience
- Connect with other ambassadors to share best practices and help each other succeed!
Meet the 2021-2022 Adobe Student Ambassadors

Maisy Armstrong is a Junior from Rosemount, Minnesota, majoring in Business Enterprise Management with a minor in Film Studies. She loves the creativity, vision, and emotion that drives video projects. In addition to her enthusiasm for digital projects, Maisy enjoys drawing, playing cards with my family, and going for long drives with great music playing. She is looking forward to improving her own digital literacy skills as an Ambassador as well as exposing others to the exciting opportunities that accompany an interest in media.

Sarah Gerlach is a Junior from Charlotte, North Carolina, double majoring in Business and Enterprise Management with a concentration in Marketing as well as German Language. She is involved in many clubs on campus including Kappa Alpha Theta, Anthony Aston Players, and Delta Phi Alpha. Her experience as a Marketing intern combined with her interest in finding new ways of combining her interests makes serving as an Ambassador a great fit.

Lauren McGovern is a Junior from Clifton, Virginia, majoring in Engineering. She loves to combine her technical and creative skills which makes being an Ambassador a perfect outlet for her. Lauren has the most experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign but looking forward to learning and sharing about the many tools included in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Brae Troutman is a Senior from Wilmington, North Carolina, double majoring in Computer Science and Chinese. He’s very passionate about his majors and loves communication and technology, and the intersection thereof, making him an ideal Ambassador. Brae enjoys music as a medium and is a musician, as well as a participant in theatrical activities at Wake, a member of the Innuendo coed acapella group, and a member of the WFU marching band SOTOGAB.

Alex Xia is a Wake Graduate student from Shanghai, China, with a Wake Forest undergraduate degree in Accounting and a minor in Mathematics. He loves photography and videography and is the current Director of Education Affairs of The Media. Alex likes to take portraits, does some street photography on his own, and produces educational content for the Wake Forest community. His interest in sharing his technology skills with hardware and software will serve him well as an Ambassador.
