For November, we welcome filmmaker, humanitarian, and entrepreneur Wubetu Shimelash. Some of his works are, The Power of Ethiopian Coffee, The Mimicker, The Soul: Water to Drink but Endless Hills to Walk, The Gebara Boy and more. The Gebara Boy is his first personal narrative film that demonstrates his lifestyle growing up as a shepherd boy in the Simien mountains of Ethiopia and his journey to the USA. Please join us as we screen this personal narrative film.

This month’s *creepy* Creative Exchange will be a showcase of the student films created in our first annual Halloween Film Contest.

Craig Fansler is the Preservation Librarian in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University, a position that he’s held for 14 years. In 2013, ZSR accepted a donation of a letterpress from a local individual and has been using the press to print bookmarks and poetry broadsides. He teaches book repair workshops regularly across North Carolina.
